Learning analog photography

These photos were taken a long time ago when I was learning how to use my Nikon FM10. I was currently enrolled in a photography class at school.

  1. Every photographer, every writer, most every artist gets a mental block from time to time. Find something that excites you and photograph it until you are pleased with the results. Even subjects you’ve shot before look different in the morning, or late in the afternoon. Explore shadows. Try close ups. Go out one day and make a photograph where the subject represents each letter of the alphabet. By the time you get to Z, you may find something that touches you photographically. Perhaps, only shoot black and white for a while and see if that sparks your creativity.
